JOHN CHRYSOSTOM

Having been captivated by The Virtues, John Chrysostom is shown with his hand on his breast as a sign of humility.  He is shown leaning on Athanasius who is also basking in the presence of the virtues.

They were all geniuses in their day, that's why I have featured them together in the Triumph of The Virtues.  As we continue to explore the book, it will make more sense to you if you have it before your very eyes, so you can see the un-cut renditions of the figures behind the themes.  You will get a sense of continuity as each inspirational theme leads to the next.
